The Friends of the Bruce Springsteen Special Collection is a "by fans for fans" organization that came together a few years ago, after we'd recognized that much of the written history of Bruce and his bands was in danger of being lost. From the original donations of 850 publications we've created a world-class repository of books, magazines, tour books, song books, fanzines and other documents now numbering over 4,915, and covering the entire history of Bruce Springsteen and his bands.

Now, as we enter a new and exciting phase in the life of the Collection, we invite you to join us. Your support will help increase the quality of the Collection, its visibility, and its stature. You will help ensure the permanent preservation of Bruce books and magazines through state-of-the-art archival techniques. You will help us make the Collection easier to access both in person and over the Internet. And you will enable us to start thinking ahead to the day when we can expand the Collection into new and as yet untapped areas.

Please join us! We want your participation, either as a charter or an annual member. We are offering the following membership packages:

* Number of charter memberships limited to 250
* You'll be honored by having your name/hometown permanently listed on our Special Recognition page (unless you request otherwise)
* Gets a Special Collection bumpersticker

* May request 8, rather than 4, Collection items for retrieval when visiting the Library (on presentation of Friends membership card)

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP: $20.00

You can become a Charter or Annual member of the Friends of the Bruce Springsteen Special Collection by submitting your payment and information through PayPal, using the link below, or through the mail. (All memberships are for one person only.)

You can also make a donation to the Friends, instead of or in addition to a Membership, by any of the methods to be described below. We will honor
our most generous donors on the Special Recognition page, unless requested to do otherwise.

We'll need some information to ensure that you receive all of your membership benefits (it can be entered in PayPal's "Additional Information" section). Please provide:

Your name
Your email address
Your mailing address
Your hometown, if you're selecting a Charter Membership and want to be listed on our site
Whether you'd like to receive our newsletter through email or regular mail
Anything else you would like us to know
